CONFIDENT Westfields search for a second win in a row at Oldbury United in the Midland Alliance tonight (7.45).

The Hereford side chalked up their opening victory with a fine 3-0 beating of Rocester at allpay.park on Saturday.

Despite torrential rain, the well-prepared pitch made for slick passing and Westfields got their game together to open up the visitors.

Mark Davis bagged the first goal on 15 minutes at the third time of asking following two excellent saves from 'keeper Paul Wood.

Jon Pugh's save and a vital clearance by man-of-the-match Alex Hunt kept Westfields in front.

They added a second just before the interval through Davis from Mark Hibbard's pass.

Matt Morris lobbed Wood for the third goal on 65 minutes.

Tonight's opponents Oldbury also picked up their first win on Saturday, seeing off Biddulph Victoria 2-0 with former Stourport Swifts striker Lee Booth among the scorers.

Meanwhile, Pegasus Juniors face an FA Cup extra preliminary round replay at home to Eccleshall on Thursday (7.45) after drawing 1-1 on Saturday.
