WRIBBENHALL WI -- The president, Pat Jones, gave details of a Forest Group walk with lunch and a request from the group co-ordinator for feedback on the date and content for the winter concert.
Mrs Cynthia Coombs is organising a pasta, pudding and poetry lunch at the Community Hall on September 13, also a trip to the Rose Theatre.
Mrs Janice Stokes has arranged crafty chat afternoons to work on Christmas tree aprons and gift bags and tags.
The speaker, Mrs Catherine Clark, brought a large selection of hats in many colour combinations, which she hires out. She gave an account of her life working in fashion at Harrods and John Lewis. Mrs Joyce Coley will give a talk entitled "who put Bella in the witch elm" on September 11 at the Community Hall Shaw Hedge Road at 7.15pm.
