THE Kidderminster Harriers friendly inquiry has not affected the players.

It was going on before the first two games. It has affected them in a positive way in that they have pulled together.

The situation has probably worked in our favour in uniting the squad. Things have been sorted out and we will move on.

It was not ideal but nothing has been ideal apart from our first two results, which were more than ideal.

Troy Wood and Craig Wil-ding have done OK. They have both scored, they have given their all and worked hard for the team.

Mark Danks will probably be coming back in the next couple of weeks so there will be renewed competition. It's just a matter of making sure they stay in the team. They will both only get better.

I am pleased with Craig Wilding's contribution be-cause we have needed him to lead the attack and take the pressure off Troy Wood.

Troy gets in the right positions to score goals and he's getting a good run at it now and he will only get better.

Jay Sztybel has done alright. He did well at Barrow and he was injured for the Nuneaton game but no-one had a good game on Saturday.

It was just one of those things, I felt I had to change things but it could have been anybody. He's still very much part of our plans, he did well pre-season and we are not going to change our opinion on one game.

Adrian Harper is here for the next couple of games and we'll take it from there. We are struggling that much with the injuries, we need to bring another body in.

He was a player I was aware of previously who might have beenavailable on loan but he went to Scarborough.

He had a couple of years as a professional at Sheffield Uni-ted and he's looking to get in and the people at Sheffield United have recommended Worcester as a place to restart his career.

Harper did OK on Saturday, he's a good player.

We are trying to find him work to go alongside the football. He's prepared to move to Worcester. If it was possible I think he could come and give us something.

I think he would add to the squad and the competition for places.

If players leave Sheffield United they can come to Worcester and get a chance to get back in the league because we do things right. There's a tentative link between us but no more than that.

Tom Warmer is still struggling but it looks like we could get Justin Thompson back now, but obviously he's still going to take a couple of weeks before he's fit.

Anybody who thinks Adam Webster's going to be back in the next couple of weeks is mistaken. I would expect eight weeks and at worst it could be the whole season.
