BLOCKADED and besieged! When?
Mark R Heel's letter stating the residents of Waterside, Droitwich, were, to quote - 'blockaded in their own homes by workers parking from Chapel Bridge garages' - is an absurd exaggeration.
A number of cars do park along the south-west end of Waterside and these restrict the two-way flow of traffic.
This is a nuisance and potential hazard, but nothing more than that. One could laugh at Mark's use of language, but it gives the impression that the Waterside estate had a major parking problem, which is not so.
The Waterside estate is, and will remain, one of the best places to live in Droitwich Spa.
