GOLFER John Bickerton missed the cut at the US PGA Championship at Medinah in Illinois over the weekend.
The Droitwich professional finished on a three-over-par score of 147 to end the championship one hundredth in America.
He started the event with a bogey on the sixth, ninth and 11th holes, before rallying with birdies on the 16th and 17th. However, a dropped shot on the final hole left him two-over-par after the first round.
Bickerton started the second round with a bogey on the fourth hole but responded by picking up a shot on the fifth. A birdie on the 15th hole gave him hope but he ended with a dropped shot on the 18th hole.
World number One Tiger Woods clinched his 12th major tournament with a 18-under-par score, while Great Britain's Luke Donald came joint third.
