THE Programme of talks for the coming season has been announced.
All meetings take place on the second Tuesday in the month at 7.30pm, alternating between the village halls at Feckenham and Webheath as indicated in the programme.
September 12 - Feckenham, Roman Alcester by Alan Godfrey, an illustrated talk by an Alcester historian.
October 10 - Webheath, Worcestershire Curiosities by Derek Harrington, Hagley Hall to Worcester City.
November 14 - Feckenham, Chadwich Manor by George Gascoyne, the history of this Lickey
Hills manor.
December 12 - Webheath, Know your County by Robin Hill, a light-hearted quiz on Worcestershire followed by Christmas party.
January 9 - Webheath, History of Feckenham by Elizabeth Atkins, our own ancient forest.
February 13 - Feckenham, History along the Avon by Brian Draper, battlefields and sights along the Warwickshire river.
March 13 - Webheath, Churches of Warwickshire by Tim Bridges, sights and secrets worth visiting.
April 10 - Feckenham, history of Droitwich and its salt industries by Lyn Blewitt and AGM.
May 8 - Webheath, History of Hewell Grange by Dr Phillida Ballard.
June - Visit to Alcester to be arranged.
July - Coach trip to be arranged.
