Evesham Jubilee Society

THE latest Stillwater Shield match at the Jubilee Fishery produced a win for Gary Seadon with a net weighing 49.14.0.

Second place went to Nick Green (44.9.0) while the section winners were Phil Seedhouse (41.3.0), Brian Bennett (37.9.0) and Stu Thomson (28.14.0)

The final Tuesday Evening Open of the summer was contested at the same Bishampton venue.

First place went to Richard Ford (43.11.0) who edged out Dougie Smith (42.13.0).

The section winners were Andy Beasley (40.11.0), Gary Seadon (32.6.0), Simon Milner (30.11.0) and Chris Taylor (19.4.0).

The Grant Davis Memorial charity match is now only two weeks away and funds will be donated to St Richard's Hospice for an event that is open to non members.

Members are contesting another Stillwater Shield series match at the Jubilee Fishery on Sunday when the draw takes place at 7am.

Evesham WMC

A PERFECT looking River Severn at Seven Stoke failed to produce leaving Vic Woods with a single bream and a couple of small fish, to win the Boden Cup with a winning weight of 4.5.8.

Brian Townley had a few small skimmers for second with 3.14.0 and third-placed Robin Locke a few small roach in a weight of 2.8.0.

The next match is at Crop-thorne, draw at 7am.
