THE 26th staging of the Spring Hill Horse Trials will take place on Monday at Spring Hill Estate, between Broadway and Moreton-in-- Marsh, by kind permission of Captain Lennox Hannay.
There''s a full day's action from 8am with dressage followed by show jumping and cross country, due to the bumper entries received, 309, making up seven sections.
International and local riders have entered horses in the three different classes - novice, intermediate and open intermediate.
Riders include Oliver Towend, who is competing at the World Games as an individual on Sunday, long listed British Olympic rider Terry Boon, long listed Australian and local rider William Levett plus many other well-known foreign and local riders including Tessa Blazey and Erica Watson.
New this year is a dog agility ring giving spectators the opportunity to see how fast your dog can tackle the obstacles. For the slower more groomed breeds, family fun classes are on offer.
Food and drink is available if you don't want to bring along your own picnic and an excellent viewing course offers excellent value for money with entry at £10 per car to include a free programme.
