SUNDAY, September 3 promises to be a fantastic day out for all the family at Worcester Racecourse!

Following the six National Hunt races starting at 2.20pm, the Ladbrokes Northern Jump Jockeys will take on the Arena Leisure Southern lads at football.

This charity day, in aid of JP McNamara, a talented young jump jockey who was seriously injured in a fall at Bangor, and the Injured Jockeys Fund, is definitely one not to miss! Radio Wyvern FM will provide fun and games with a roadshow, there will be bouncy castles, face painting, clowns, makeovers and penalty shootouts throughout the day.

Unique memorabilia will be auctioned in the winners' enclosure between races and Channel Four presenter, John Francome, will be auctioning further items after the football. Additional funds will be raised through the sale of the charity racecard, a raffle and bucket collections.

Entrance for accompanied children under 16 and the entertainment are all free of charge.

With three priced enclosures starting from £6 in the Centre Course, to £11 for the Grandstand Enclosure and £16 for the Premier enclosure, free parking or picnic parking for £6 per car, there is something to suit all pockets and tastes.

"Raceday will see punters, racing staff and jockeys alike, coming together for a great day to put something back into the sport we all love, and to support and recognise those without whom we would simply not have our sport," said Pitchcroft hospitality manager, Jenny Cheshire.
