MEMBERS were able to hear reports on the Alcester town walk, the trips to Waddeston Manor and Windsor and a member's garden party, all of which had been very successful.
Anne Thurrell, from Hopwood WI, was the delegate at the AGM in Cardiff and she gave a full report of the day's happenings and showed photographs she had taken . Wythall was particularly interested in the judging for the Stepping Out Scrapbook as their scrapbook had been forwarded to the National level but unfortunately it had not won. Anne described how the Worcestershire Federation chairman had given a vote of thanks in verse and she read out a copy of this.
She also described a recent trip to Germany with the WFWI.
The evening was described as ''Ourselves'' as members had time to look through the Stepping Out Scrapbook and also the Wythall WI scrapbooks , which a team had worked on for 2005, organised by Betty Sadler.
The scrapbooks are completed every 10 years since 1965 and record the changes in the village and in people's lifestyles.
Also on show were handicrafts completed by members and some quizzes on famous people and places.
