BURLISH Olympic Ladies will kick off the season in the West Midlands Regional Women's Football League after being handed a surprise promotion.
The club expected to be in the Worcestershire County League again but have been elevated to a higher level after another team dropped out.
They will be in the Southern Division of the West Midlands League and will take on teams including West Browmich Albion, Birmingham and Coventry.
Manager Dave Glass is looking for experienced players to help Olympic challenge at the new level.

Burlish will play their fixtures at 2pm on Sundays with the home matches at Stourport High School.
The season kicks off away at Birmingham on Sunday, September 3.
