THE hottest tango show from the tango capital of the world, Buenos Aires, comes to Malvern Theatres on Sunday, September 10 for just one night.

With a company of 10 dancers, a vocalist and four gifted musicians, the UK tour of Tango Fire features the exciting and highly talented Estamps Poteas, which has received critical acclaim not only internationally but, perhaps more crucially, in its own country of Argentina.

This is the UK's first chance to see Estampas Porteas' sizzling footwork.

Born in the brothels and taverns of the late 19th century Buenos Aires, tango emerged as the dance of the fugitives, pimps, immigrants and country people who were drawn to the Argentine capital.

Last century, the passionate music and fiery dance of tango underwent a renaissance when it re-captured the imagination of lovers of music and dance around the world.

Estampas Porteas was established by the celebrated and distinguished Argentine ballerina and choreographer Carolina Soler and has toured exclusively in the 10 years since its inception.

The company features a quartet of brilliant young musicians.

Vocals are provided by Diego Fama, a regular performer in tango houses.

Sizzling dancers Nelson Celis and Yanina Fajar, Pablo Sosa and Mariela Maldonado, Ezequiel Hudyma and Paola Rodolfo, Luciano Capparelli and Rocio de los Santos, and Mauricio Celis and Ines Cuesta demonstrate the sultry tension of this erotic and seductive dance.

Tango Fire is at Malvern Theatres on Sunday, September 10 at 7.30pm. Call the box office on 01684 892277 or visit www.malvern-theatres.co.uk.
