IT didn't rain but it poured for Bewdley as they lost their Division One clash to Bromyard on a wet wicket.

Bewdley were skittled out for just 69 in 19 overs with Bromyard's overseas star Saeed claiming six scalps.

Both openers went for ducks and were among six Bewdley batsmen who failed to trouble the scorers.

Robert Combes (39) and Matt Cowdrey (17) were the only ones to offer any resistance.

Bewdley looked as though they might be saved by the rain but after a four-hour wait Bromyard batted aggressively to reach the target. It took them 11 overs and they lost two wickets to Tom Boden.

l Stourport were left washed out after holding hosts Pedmore to 201-8 before the Division Three North match was abandoned.

Despite travelling with a weakened attack, Stourport bowled well with two scalps each for Matt Delo and Neil Bailey.

Mark Moss took another three catches behind the stumps to boost his tally to 31 for the season.

The rain started just before the tea break and the game was called off without Stourport's strong batting line up facing a single ball.
