AS residents we were invited by Community Action Newtown to enjoy an afternoon at the Manor Farm Play Area, Stourport.
The youth football and netball matches were excellent and there was lots of activities for the younger ones.
It was a happy community event and we overhead one young person saying: "Is this really all for us."
We just wanted to thank the organisers, Community Action Newtown and sponsors, Wyre Forest Commun-ity Housing for all their hard work and to say we hope that a similar event will be run there next year.
