A JAZZ duo oozing with talent are helping to fix a hole in a roof with a fund-raising concert next month.
Nick Long and Michelle Mann, better known as new duo Come Fly With Us, are performing at St Mary's Hall in Northfield Street, Worcester, on Friday, September 1, and Saturday, September 2.
They are hoping songs such as Something Stupid, Fever and One for my Baby will raise money to repair the hole in the hall's roof. More than £10,000 is needed for essential repairs to the roof gullies, to replace missing and broken roof tiles and to fix one chimney which is getting unsafe.
Nick and Michelle are both members of the Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society - the amateur dramatic company that rehearses at the hall. The concert starts at 8pm. For tickets, priced £5, call 01905 840684 or 07960 088045.
