THE biggest free park event of the year in Worcester - the Gheluvelt Green Fair - is just a fortnight away, and people from all walks of life are being encouraged to go along.
Visitors to the event will get to try their hands at circus skills, archery, climbing or a craft activity with the city council's wildlife team.
Staff will also be on hand to offer expert advice on home composting, how to save energy, organic feeds and a range of other green ways of living.
The event, on Saturday, September 2, between 11am-5pm in Gheluvelt Park riverside extension, is free.
Competitions will be run throughout the day.
Warwick Neale, city council parks community and conservation officer, said: "This is a great opportunity to have a fun day out."
