HUNGRY residents have been tucking into tasty and affordable breakfasts.
A community cafe is up and running at the Green Centre, in Gresham Road, Dines Green, Worcester. Just £4 will buy you a "belly buster", £2.50 a full English breakfast and £1.50 a tasty bacon sandwich.
The organiser, and one of the cooks, Doris Hunt said: "It's not just local residents, everybody is welcome."
The cafe is open every Wednesday from 9.30am to 1pm. Also on the affordable menu are jacket potatoes and other light lunches.
The Green Centre is the community centre in the heart of the Dines Green estate. As well as the Community Cafe keeping rumbling stomachs at bay, a host of children's activities are keeping youngsters busy during the summer holidays. For more information call 01905 429628.
