HUNDREDS of leather-clad bikers drew inquisitive glances when they met in Upton.
The riders, from the Bikers Nite group, gathered at waterfront pubs The Plough and The King's Head.
Local police sergeant Sara Goodman praised the atmosphere at the event.
"The bikers were excellently behaved, and from a police point of view I would certainly welcome them back next year," she said. "It also brought good trade for Upton town, especially the pubs."
Town clerk Gill Jennings said many residents had gone along to have a look at the bikes. She said: "It drew a fair bit of interest, but the whole event was very peaceful and tranquil."
