THE Mercian Festival Junior Football League is holding a five-game 30th anniversary season curtain raiser at Malvern Town's Langland Stadium next Sunday (September 3).
The games, arranged to celebrate the league's milestone, are:
U15 girls' - FC Phoenix v Warndon Village Wildcats, kick-off 10am. U13s boy's - Callowbrook Swifts v Newtown Sports Colts, kick-off noon. U14s boy's - Drakes Broughton Rangers v Newtown Sports Juniors, kick-off 2pm.U15s boy's - Malvern Town Wanderers v Suffolk Rangers, kick-off 4pm. U16s boy's - Lyppard Rangers Speeedy v Newtown Sports Juniors, kick-off 6pm.
Admission is free and there will be a bar, hot and cold refreshments and a raffle in aid of the Air Ambulance.
