VOLUNTEERS at last Sunday's churchyard clean-up made a good start towards their goal of improving the general maintenance of the burial ground and surrounding areas.

The large number of old, unattended graves makes it a difficult and ongoing commitment and the parochial church council would welcome your help.

Anyone who could spare an hour or two, at any time over the next few weeks to strim some of the neglected areas, enabling the regular mowing to take place, would be much appreciated.
