TWO young players are bidding to make a big impression at Hereford United after signing professional deals.
Former Cheltenham Town striker Marcus Palmer and midfielder Jordan Fitzpatrick, once with Wolves, have been handed full-time contracts at the Edgar Street club.
Palmer impressed in a pre-season thrashing of Ludlow Town, while Fitzpatrick spent part of pre-season at Kidderminster Harriers without winning a deal.
Bulls manager Graham Turner said: "Marcus has been training off and on with us and we just felt he's got the potential and well worth taking the chance with him.
"Jordan left Wolves at the end of last season and has been training with us for several weeks and we've been impressed enough with his potential to offer him a pro contract."
