WORCESTER Cathedral has taken another step towards tackling climate change.
The dean of Worcester, the Very Reverend Peter Atkinson, has signed the Worcestershire Climate Change Pledge, promising that the city landmark will do what it can in the face of environmental change.
The pledge means people working at the cathedral must monitor how much energy and resources are used during everyday activities.
The dean said: “This demonstrates our commitment to tackling climate change through good practice. It’s also about good stewardship, which is at the heart of the Christian message.”
