TOMORROW evening your Worcester News is hosting a live political debate between the city's main party candidates.

Editor Kevin Ward will chair a discussion between Labour's Mike Foster, Tory hopeful Robin Walker and the Lib Dem's Jackie Alderson in front of a 100-strong audience of readers.

The hour-long event, which begins at 7.30pm in the Graeme Hick Pavillion at the New Road Cricket Ground, will be covered live right here on worcesternews.co.uk Digital Editor Murray Kelso will be running a 'Cover it Live' blog during the debate, featuring the questions asked of the candidates, the main thrust of their answers and general observations throughout.

The nature of the coverage means that readers who log on during the hour will be able to join in the blog with their own comments and reaction, all of which will be published live, as-it-happens, on the web.

We'll also be videoing the event, which will be uploaded in its entirety on Thursday.

The result of this coverage is that Worcester News readers don't have to miss a thing, and you'll be able to scrutinise the candidates from the comfort of your own home.
