Two people have died and three others have been injured following a crash in Worcestershire yesterday evening.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Junction 6 of the M5 in Hindlip around 8.35pm.
Four ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, a senior paramedic officer and a BASICS Doctor were dispatched to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival at the scene, crews found a car and a lorry that had been in collision.
“The car was carrying five occupants at the time of the incident. Three of the occupants were out of the car on the crew’s arrival.
“Ambulance crews immediately assessed the two occupants, a man and a woman, that were in the rear of the vehicle.
"Unfortunately despite best efforts of ambulance crews nothing could be done to save the passengers and they were confirmed deceased at the scene.
“The three others that were travelling in the car at the time of the incident were walking wounded. They were treated at the scene before being conveyed to Worcester Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
“No one else was injured in this incident”
