A GIRL who has always dreamt of becoming a model is taking part in a national beauty contest.
Jessica Harrison, of Stallard Road, St John’s, Worcester, has made it through to the semi-finals of Miss Teen Queen UK.
The 16-year-old, who attends Christopher Whitehead Language College, travelled to London for a professional photo-shoot and now needs people to vote for her.
Mum Dawn Hooper said: “She’s loved modelling since she was a little girl. It’s been her dream.
“Jessica is actually quite shy, but put her in front of a camera and she’s totally different. She loves having her picture taken and really enjoyed going to London.
“We’re just hoping that enough people will vote for her.”
Miss Teen Queen UK gives girls from all walks of life and backgrounds the chance to experience the world of modelling.
The winner will be introduced to a top modelling agency and go on to represent her country in Miss Tourism International in Malaysia.
To vote for Jessica, visit missteenqueenuk.com or text her full name to 84205. See the website for conditions.
Voting closes at 11.30pm on Saturday, May 15.
