A YOUNG artist will soon see his eye-catching graffiti on the walls of St John’s Library, which opened yesterday.
Worcester teenager Louis Baerentzen was awarded first prize in the library’s graffiti art competition.
The 14-year-old, who collected his prize along with runners-up Sophie Shepherd, aged 13, and Bethan Armitage, 14, has now turned his 2-D design into a full-size feature that will be prominently displayed in the young people’s area of the newly refurbished library.
The library in Glebe Close, St John’s, has undergone a major face-lift.
Talking about the art competition, library manager Paul Etheridge said: “We had a fantastic response with some extremely vibrant artwork submitted.”
