A FAMILY from Worcestershire had to be airlifted from a Snowdonia mountain.
The two adults and a teenage boy and girl, along with their dog from Evesham had to be winched to safety from Tryfan, after they became stuck on a ‘no-go’ area.
The incident happened yesterday between 5.20pm and 7.30pm, and the group were rescued by the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue.
Tryfan is 3,000 ft (914 m) high, and it is understood a Sea King helicopter from RAF Valley flew the family back to the mountain rescue base.
