THE mystery youngster who was mistaken for a corpse after images of her lying in the street appeared on the internet, is happy to confirm she is alive, well and enjoying her five minutes of fame.
On the front page of today’s Worcester News we revealed how an image captured by Google’s Street View cameras had caused concern among some readers after they noticed the ‘body’ in Middle Street, St John’s, Worcester.
We were able to solve part of the riddle after neighbours said the young girl was playing with a friend when the picture was taken last summer.
Azura Beebeejaun, aged 10, had no idea she was being pictured by Google’s panoramic cameras and said she may have fallen over as the car went passed.
