EXCITING things are happening at Twycross Zoo this summer, new attractions, Fun Rangers and great value for money inclusive tickets and delighted visitors!

Following the opening of two new attractions, Himalaya visitor centre in May and Uda Walawe elephant walkway in July the response from visitors has been emphatic.

A recent survey found that 86% of visitors thought it was better than their last visit and 100% said they enjoyed their visit.

A new all inclusive ticket has also been a resounding success with 98% of visitors rating their visit to the zoo as good value for money.

During the summer a new team of ‘Fun Rangers’ including our characters “Tips” the chimp and “Lenny” the lemur, have developed a programme of exciting events to keep the children occupied and make a day at the zoo even more fun. The new activities include parachute penguins, hide and seek, craft sessions and treasure hunt.

Rob Bracken Commercial Director said, “We are delighted with the response that we have received from visitors to our new attractions, which form part of an ongoing programme of developments.

We also understand how tight money is at the moment and are pleased how well the idea of an all inclusive ticket has been received (The inclusive ticket means a family of four can visit the zoo for £40 including all children’s rides, tours and talks’
