THE driver of a lorry containing what is thought to be the county's largest haul of illegal drugs has been locked up for nine years.

Stephen Toner, 27, was arrested on August 4 after workers loading apples in to his vehicle in Pershore found pills raining from the roof inside.

Police discovered more than £1m worth of Ecstacy and Cannabis hidden inside and today Toner, of Newry, County Down, Northern Ireland, was sentenced at Worcester Crown Court after admitting possession with intent to supply the 150,000 pills and 69k of 'skunk'.
