A JILTED boyfriend let himself into his ex-girlfriend’s home, trashed her house and spat at her.

Russell Taylor took the breakdown of his relationship “badly” by his own admission and let himself into their former home in Droitwich on Sunday, May 30.

The 24-year-old, of Oakham Place, spread wood filler throughout the downstairs landing, on the carpet and walls and also in his ex-girlfriend’s bedroom.

When she got home she found the filler tracked all over the house, together with Taylor’s blood - he had cut his hand getting into the filler tube.

Leslie Ashton, prosecuting at Worcester Magistrates Court, said Taylor then appeared at the kitchen window shouting.

Miss Ashton said Taylor reached through the window, picked up a vase and threw it at his ex girlfriend.

As he left he kicked the wing mirror off her car, causing £150 damage.

Earlier that day, he had also “broken down and wept” on the bonnet of his ex-girlfriend’s father’s car, scratching the bonnet in the process and causing £500 in damage.

Taylor apologised and admitted assault and two counts of criminal damage, relating to damage to the two cars.

He was bailed for pre-sentence reports and will be dealt with by magistrates on Monday, September 27.
