Bike stolen from garden shed

A TEENAGER has had his new bike stolen from his garden shed.

The bike - a mustard-green coloured BMX GT Interceptor with a skull and wings on the lower sub frame - was stolen at about 1.30am on Friday, September 3, from the 16-year-old's address in Goldsmith Road, Warndon.

Police are now appealing for information.

PC Duncan Jones, investigating, said: “This teenager had only bought the bike a few weeks ago and is obviously very upset.

“I would appeal to anyone who has any information on the incident or has seen a bike matching the description being ridden or offered for sale, to contact police.”

Information can be given by calling 0300 333 3000, quoting 38/S/030910, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Funny how I didn't get a piece in the paper after having 2 bikes stolen in 3 months, as well as my neighbour having 1 bike stolen, and then there are those from other buildings near by.... Think the total is now somewhere near 6 or 7 from the area in the last 6 months.

Oh, and just to add insult to injury, when my first bike was stolen, I was due to collect a brand-new road bike the next day (delayed by 2 days as well) and I hit that bloody big pot hole at the bottom of Droitwich Road\Ombersley Road junction, blew the front tyre, damaged the front wheel and myself, and had to walk carrying the front in the air across the city, with two arms that already hurt when I hit the pot hole, and now Highways wont pay for the damage to the bike! Now that's what you call a hard-luck story.
