UNUSUALLY for Ramblers Worcester Group, 24 members joined the walk on Thursday, August 19, probably because the weather was good and the route took us under the newly opened canal bridge at Hawford. Also, it was a shorter distance.
Four new walkers joined the group for this walk – it appears that most newcomers look for a walk close to home and not too long in distance.
