A WORCESTER supermarket has chosen a charity as its latest local charity partner.
The Sainsbury’s store in Blackpole has chosen the Midlands Air Ambulance after nominations from customers keen to support the cause.
It is the latest charity to benefit from money donated through fund-raising and Sainsbury’s staff volunteers over the next year.
The store plans to launch the partnership with initiatives in store during the help appeal month in September as part of the charity’s national help appeal.
The Midlands Air Ambulance works to raise funds to keep the air ambulances flying.
Jason Dennis, from the charity, said: “We’re really excited to be partnering with Sainsbury’s and have already been getting our heads together to think of plenty of ways to raise money to help out our charity.”
