GARDEN enthusiasts can get a special insight into the restoration of one of Worcestershire’s most beautiful spots.

Tickets are still available for the garden restoration talk and tour at Hanbury Hall, Hanbury, near Droitwich, tomorrow between 1.30pm and 4pm.

Head gardener Neil Cook will lead the tour, which will look at the years of work it has taken to restore the garden to its original splendour.

Mr Cook has been an integral part in recreating George London’s original early garden design. George London was an eminent gardener during the 18th century and designed many gardens for noblemen, including Hampton Court Palace Garden.

Visitor services manager Alice Eddy said: “This is a unique opportunity to hear about the amazing restoration project which Neil has worked on for more than 15 years.”

Tickets cost £10, which includes a slice of cake and a hot drink.
