A WOMAN who hit another car while trying to park at a Worcester supermarket has been fined for not reporting the accident.

Sarah Smith, of Hemsby Close, St Peter’s, drove a Jaguar X-Type, to the St Peter’s Tesco store on Tuesday, April 4.

Matt Dodson, prosecuting at Worcester Magistrates Court, said Smith hit an Audi A6 while trying to park between two cars causing £600 of damage.

She was later arrested and said she had “misjudged the angle and the size of her vehicle”.

Smith, aged 30, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention, failing to stop and failing to report and accident.

She was fined £165, given five penalty points and ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
