A RACING fan was treated to a “fantastic” day at Silverstone circuit, courtesy of Hylton Renault and the Worcester News.
Mick Drew, of Tintern Avenue, off Astwood Road, Worcester entered a competition earlier this year to win two exclusive VIP passes to the British Touring Car Championship, at the Northamptonshire track.
Mr Drew took his father-in-law, Paul Fessey, and the two enjoyed three rounds of the popular saloon-car series as well as the action from the ELF Renault Clio Cup and the Michelin Formula Renault UK Championship.
The pair were treated to breakfast and lunch in the Renault Sport hospitality suite, usually reserved for Renault drivers and teams, and met Clio Cup driver, James Dixon.
“We had a fantastic time,” said Mr Drew.
“The food was excellent, the weather was glorious and the racing was brilliant.”
