PAUL Sturrock has labelled tomorrow’s clash at Northampton Town as a ‘dangerous’ 90 minutes for his side.

The Sixfields Stadium outfit have struggled so far this season.

But Sturrock is certain the Cobblers’ performances have been better than their score-lines suggest.

“This is a dangerous game for us,” said Sturrock.

“Northampton have been very good at home over the past couple of years and they’re busting for a win now.

“They’re playing well in games but haven’t been getting the three points and will want to put that right.”

Northampton have also brought in striker Leon McKenzie ahead of facing Blues.

And Sturrock is expecting him to provide a real threat.

“They’ve just signed a new striker who I rate very highly and is a very good player,” said Sturrock.

“It will be a very difficult game and if we don’t have the right attitude then Northampton will cause us all kinds of problems.”

Sturrock could have striker Barry Corr back in contention after he recovered from a back problem to join in full training yesterday.

But centre-back Mark Phillips is still out with a hamstring injury.
