Petra and Calder are just normal kids. Except Calder is a code genius and Petra is a heavy reader and good at piecing together events. They are going to need those skills when a Vermeer painting is stolen along with an unusual newspaper story…
I found Chasing Vermeer interesting and it was very exciting because I had no idea what was going to happen. It kept me on edge and the codes were amazing!!!!!! A great code cracking adventure I was right there with Petra and Calder every step of the way, a wonderful read!
