TODAY’S Worcester News contains a free, 52-page glossy magazine called Future Worcester. This special publication brings together for the first time in one place all the major developments taking place in the Faithful City.
Our aim is simple – to highlight the good things that are happening in Worcester despite all the post-recession doom and gloom.
It is all too easy to join the moaners (and there are plenty of them out there) who believe nothing positive ever happens in Worcester.
Yet the truth is there are some remarkable developments under way that will change life for the better.
Today’s magazine takes a peek into our city’s near future, looking at the developments that are under way and will be completed in the next few years.
These are projects that will not be affected by the coalition Government’s forthcoming public spending cuts.
The pages of Future Worcester highlight some fantastic changes taking place in Worcester.
We will soon have a landmark library and history centre that will be unique in Europe; developments in Diglis and Lowesmoor will breathe new life into long-neglected areas; a 2,500-seater sports arena will be a wonderful addition to Worcester’s cultural life – and these are just a few of the projects featured in the pages of today’s magazine.
We hope you enjoy reading Future Worcester.
And we hope you will agree with us that this magazine shows just what an exciting future lies ahead for Worcester.
