Hyder Ali Manir
A MAN from Worcester who went missing on Ben Nevis a week ago has been found dead.
The body of Hyder Ali Manir was discovered yesterday afternoon, following an intensive search of the area.
Mr Manir, aged 20, had been reported missing to Fort William Police on Sunday, January 30, when he had failed to return from climbing Ben Nevis.
The search - which took more than 900 man hours and involved eight mountain rescue teams and the Northern Constabulary Dog Section among others - was carried out over five days in extremely poor weather conditions and reduced visibility.
