Ambitious plans for a county roll-out of broadband have been produced by Herefordshire Council.
The strategy sets out the importance of broadband to Herefordshire.
It aims to have 90 per cent of homes and businesses in the county linked up to fast internet by 2015, and 50 per cent of premises being able to access speeds of 100 mbps by 2020.
The Council says that the benefits include allowing businesses to become more competitive, easier access to services for people and use of technologies to improve services to everyone, as well as environmental and cost improvements.
