Children, parents and staff at Perry Wood Primary and Nursery School watch and cheer as the balloons are released to mark the opening of the state-of-the-art facility.
CHILDREN and staff have celebrated the opening of a new nursery.
The state-of-the-art facility at Perry Wood Primary and Nursery School in St Albans Close, Ronkswood, Worcester, was opened by Claire Locker, Worcestershire County Council’s children’s centre cluster manager.
The celebrations also included a balloon race, when the children released tagged balloons and the winner will be the balloon returned to the school from the furthest distance.
Spokesman Louise Jones said: “It was a great day and a big success. The children loved it. The new facility is much more convenient and everyone will benefit.”
