WORCESTER Warrior Craig Gillies will be putting his own family through their paces later this month.

The Sixways lock will take part in the Leukaemia CARE Santa Love Run event on Sunday, February 20, along with his wife Tina and their two children.

The Gillies family will be attending the event at Worcester Warriors, Sixways Stadium, to support the Worcester-based blood and lymphatic cancer charity, by taking part in the 5k fun run.

The event will include a live band, buffet, and numerous craft stalls.

Mrs Gillies will be having a stall at the event with her Natural Health Care products.

Leukaemia CARE was forced to postpone its Santathon in December due to the snow.

“I am looking forward to seeing hundreds of Santas dashing around the stadium,” said Gillies.

“My children are excited about the day and what a great way to kick start the half-term break.”

A party ticket for day, including entry to the run, a Santa suit and buffet lunch costs £20 for adults (£10 for children under 16).

To enter the run only, including a Santa suit, costs £10 for adults (£5 for children under 16), or for a buffet only ticket it is £10 for adults (£5 for children under 16).
