A MAN who was verbally abusive before urinating at a Worcester train station is being hunted by transport police.

Officers have released a CCTV image of the man in relation to the incident which happened at Foregate Street station on Thursday, December 9, last year.

PC Carol Dade, the investigating officer, said the incident took place between 10.20 and 10.30am.

“A man alighted from a train at Worcester Foregate Street station at about 10.18am and made his way from platform one to platform two to catch a train to Droitwich Spa,” said PC Dade.

“Rail staff refused to let him travel as he appeared to be intoxicated and had no money. The man then became verbally abusive towards members of rail staff before urinating on the station.

“Officers have viewed CCTV images and we would now like to speak to the man in this photograph as we believe he will have information which can assist us.

“I would ask anyone who knows the identity of the man, who we believe had travelled from either Gloucester or Cheltenham Spa, to contact BTP straight away.”
