A MAN is in hospital with serious injuries after being discovered in the middle of a busy Worcestershire A road.
A passer-by found the man, who is in his early 20s, lying in the middle of the A46 near to the Evesham United football ground at 2.33am today.
He was taken to The Alexandra Hospital, Redditch, with serious injuries and is said to be in a critical but stable condition.
Relatives have been informed.
Police are investigating what they are calling a “non-stop road traffic collision” and are appealing for witnesses.
Inspector Paul Crumpton said: “The police are particularly interested in speaking to the drivers of any Audis in that area at that time.”
