The trial of a former American businessman who retired to Worcestershire and is charged with murdering his wife at their luxury home is set to begin today.
Harold Anthony Landry is accused of killing his 38-year-old spouse Lucy, who died of multiple stab wounds last February.
The 64-year-old, of Besford Court Estate, near Pershore, Worcestershire, denies murdering Mrs Landry at their home - a large semi-detached property - on February 2.
Landry is believed to have moved to the UK from Texas.
His trial, at Wolverhampton Crown Court, is expected to last up to five days.
UPDATE (10.58am): The trial has been delayed until tomorrow.
