LITERATURE fans in Worcester are being invited to take part in the first ever Worcestershire Literary Festival.
Festival organisers are holding a volunteer recruitment evening at Little Venice, St Nicholas Street, Worcester, on Wednesday, giving people the opportunity to find out more about the event and how to get involved.
The festival will be staged between Friday, June 17, and Monday, June 27.
The programming for the festival is well under way, and the team are looking for volunteers to help to bring it together.
They are currently looking to fill several key volunteer positions, including website management and updating, venue liaison, online listings management and press and PR.
Other positions available include delivering leaflets and confirming events.
Lisa Ventura, festival director and founder, said: “The amount of time volunteers can give is entirely up to them – the possibilities are endless."
