A TEENAGER has been given a conditional discharge after admitting being drunk and disorderly in public.
Jack Marshall, of Farm Street, Pershore, was seen by police running away from the Talbot pub in Barbourne, Worcester, at about 11pm on Friday, January 28.
Officers had been called to the pub after reports of a fight. Police tried to catch up with the 18-year-old and shouted at him to stop but he continued to run away.
When they finally caught him, Marshall swore at one of the officers and said “I ain’t done nothing.”
He then tried to wriggle from the officers’ grasp before being arrested for drunk and disorderly.
Appearing at Worcester Magistrates Court, Marshall said he was running away because there was a fight at the pub and he did not want to get involved.
Marshall was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.
