FAMILIES who “love Worcester” this February half-term are in with a chance of winning a prize.
People who visit five or more of the city’s most interesting and exciting tourists attractions between this Saturday and Sunday, February 27, could win tickets to an event at either Huntingdon Hall or the Swan Theatre.
It’s all part of Love Worcester event, which is being run by Visit Worcester.
The city’s tourist board has teamed up with heritage attractions in and around Worcester who are putting on a series of events over the half-term week.
From designing love-themed plates at Worcester Porcelain Museum to an exhibition of love songs at the Commandery – and even a 17th-century camp on College Green for “love of king and country” – there really is something for everyone.
And with many of the events being free there really is no reason not to get involved.
Visit Worcester’s Cynthia Palmer said: “There are events for everyone and many of them are free, especially for children, so find out how you can fall in love in Worcester.”
• People can pick up their flyers from any of the venues or from the Tourist Information Centre at the Guildhall.
